Check-In Policy
A credit/debit card authorization or cash deposit is required upon check-in to cover incidental charges, which may place a temporary hold on your available funds.
General Information
- Room taxes and service fees are included in the vacation price.
- Minimum night-stay requirements may apply.
- Reservation changes may require hotel authorization and may not always be permitted.
- Bedding preferences are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
- Please verify your passport immediately to ensure it remains valid for at least six (6) months beyond your planned travel dates. This is a requirement of U.S. and Dominican Republic authorities. Failure to meet this requirement may prevent travel. If your passport expires within this period, renewal should be completed as soon as possible, potentially through an expedited service.
Pricing & Policies
- Prices, taxes, fees, and resort offerings are subject to change without notice.
- FAPA reserves the right to adjust pricing as necessary.
- All seminar and course-related fees are non-refundable.
- Travel itinerary refunds through Beach Travel LLC are only available when the optional “Cancel For Any Reason” cash-back insurance is purchased at the time of booking. Insurance premiums are non-refundable.
Additional Notes
- Access to facilities at higher-category resorts within the complex may be restricted.
- IHG Rewards Program points cannot be earned or redeemed for Iberostar resort bookings, and reservations cannot be made through IHG websites.
- No reservation changes will be permitted after the final payment deadline of December 20, 2026.

The Fraternal Association for Podiatrists of America (FAPA), founded in 1957, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting its members through a variety of fraternal benefits, including emergency loans, short-term loans, and interest-free tuition assistance for podiatric students.
To date, FAPA has contributed more than $300,000 to podiatric colleges and medical educational facilities, helping advance podiatric education and professional development.

The William L. Goldfarb Foundation, in partnership with FAPA, is an approved sponsor of continuing medical education in podiatry. Educational programs are planned and implemented in accordance with the standards established by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education.
Faculty members participating in these programs are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest to ensure transparency and maintain the highest standards of educational integrity.
