American-style family restaurant with a focus on sustainable fish dishes and light cuisine. The impressive décor with an oceanic theme was created by the Mexican artist Susana Rubin. By using recycled toys and plastic picked up on beach clean-ups, the artist transformed waste into art.

Lemon & Spices Greek Tavern

El Museo

At the El Museo restaurant, you can try the best à la carte gastronomy and the most delicious desserts, for those who have a sweet tooth. It has a children’s menu, gluten-free and plant-based options.

The children’s activity program Star Camp is a total hit with the families staying in the hotel. The extensive program is divided into age groups (children under 4 years old must be accompanied by an adult) where children can learn to cook at the mini-chef kitchen, put themselves to the test on the multi-adventure course, play video games, discover the importance of caring for the environment in Starky’s garden with puppet and recycling workshops, bounce on the trampolines, and much more.
The hotel’s pools are some of the amenities that our guests enjoy the most. Aquafun* has 7 slides with a combined length of about 200 feet: 4 turbo racers, 1 stuka, 1 aquatube and 1 open slide. The wave pool runs frequently for kids and adults alike to enjoy and the Lazy River, surrounded by vegetation, is ideal for disconnecting while you drift in the current. You can unwind even more in the whirlpool bath, get in shape in the athletic pool, or have fun drink-in-hand at the Aqua bar while enjoying activities organized by the entertainment team. A splash pool is available for our youngest guests, so they can enjoy the water more than ever before.
Take a walk amongst the hotel’s mangroves and find out more about how important they are in protecting our planet. The mangroves absorb 10 times more carbon dioxide than terrestrial forests, helping to combat climate change. They are characteristic of tropical areas and protect coastlines from the wind and waves. At Iberostar, we are protecting mangroves and planting more around our hotels in the Riviera Maya and Punta Cana. This is just one of the actions we are taking as part of our Wave of Change movement.
You’ll have access to a fitness center (for guests aged 16 or older) that offers state-of-the-art exercise equipment and machines. You’ll also have a cycling room with daily classes and two multi-sport rooms where you can take yoga, boot camp, Zumba, kickboxing, and body pump classes, among others. All activities are led by certified instructors.
You can also do water sports by the beach, some of which are free of charge for the first hour, such as kayaking, sailing on a catamaran, snorkeling or windsurfing.
Surrounded by beautiful Mexican landscapes, the Iberostar Playa Paraíso Golf Club, ranked the 7th° best golf course in Mexico by Golfweek Magazine, is the place golf fans and pros alike dream of.
The entertainment activities at our hotel create memories that our guests will reminisce about long after going home. The Star Friends entertainment team organizes fun activities for all tastes, every day and at all hours: fun activities, such as bingo and board games, sports tournaments in the pool with Wibit floating water parks, and nightly shows in the theater that the entire family will love, including magic, music, and much more.
The Spa offers beauty treatments (for face, hair, skin or nails), hydrotherapy circuits, and an impressive variety of different massages designed to put your mind at ease. The serenity at SPA Sensations can bring time to standstill, giving every guest a true chance to relax. Through the large windows you can catch a glimpse of the palm trees and gardens that immerse the hotel complex.
The diving center, located on the same beach as the hotel, can take you on exciting excursions and dives up and down the Playa del Carmen shore, into the nearby jungle, and around the island of Cozumel. Managed by Dressel Divers, the diving center also gives you the chance to explore natural wells or dive in with bull sharks or whale sharks.
